Look up, not down.
Your instinct will be to stare at the wheel. The wheel doesn't care. Pick a fixed point on the horizon and gaze at it with misplaced confidence. It works, somehow.

Pedal like you mean it.
Timid pedaling is the enemy. The unicycle rewards commitment and punishes hesitation — much like most things in life. Pedal with your whole personality.

Stop tensing your whole body.
You look like a frozen scarecrow and it's not helping. Relax your shoulders, loosen your arms, and pretend you're a calm, confident person. Fake it until the unicycle believes you.

Falling forward beats falling backward.
If you're going down, go down forward. Your hands and knees are more forgiving than the back of your head. This is both a unicycle tip and general life advice.

Practice for 10 minutes a day. That's it.
Your muscles need time to learn this madness. An hour of frustrated flailing is worse than ten focused minutes. Rest, reflect, question your choices, repeat tomorrow.
